I am putting together a 4-pod set of guages to fit under the parcel shelf of
the M, and among the instruments is a Lucas 60's vintage 2" ammeter (single
bevel bezel). It appears there is a partially enclosed shunt in the back, but
I may be mistaken. There is a small 1/4" x 1" half round projection in the
back of the casing between the posts; is that a shunt?
If so, is this adequate protection of the line coming into the cockpit. I
recall a string of discussions on this last year, but did not save the thread.

Also would appreciate any suggestions as to where to attach the wires for
safest use, and guage of wire, etc.

Thanks. Allen Miller Bn2/M
