Michael,
The pipe runs down immediately in front of the left engine mount and aims 
inboard of the frame member. The P clip anchors to the upper bolt that 
passes horizontally forward from the top of the engine mount bracket through 
the front engine plate. Washer and nut goes on from the front. The flexible 
fuel line goes from the steel line clipped from the left lower inboard 
chassis rail and does a gentle curve 90 degrees up to the above fuel pipe.
This carb fuel pipe was originally  hand painted a dull silver at the 
factory.
