I have an excellent wire wheel man here in Walnut Creek, CA and he
recommends lubing the splines with
Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant.

Erika & I just got home this evening from a 220 mile Golden Gate Austin
Healey Club tour south from Half Moon Bay on the Pacific Coast Highway with
16 other Big Healeys. Lunched on the Santa Cruz Warf at Stagnaro's Seafood
Restaurant. A little high fog as we left Half Moon Bay but after the first
15 miles nothing but blue skies and 70 degree weather. Thanks to Roger and
Marjorie Swales (100M) for putting it together.
Vrooom vrooom,
John
100-Six Erika the Red
