Michel,
Doesn't your top have two fabric strips about 2 inches wide that are
connected to the wooden bow above the windshield and also to the back bow.
These
strips are 32 inches long and rest on top of the bows next to the top fabric.
When
the back bow is pushed to the rear while putting up the top, they stop the bow
in the right place and keep it from collapsing. There should also be a small
(2 inch) piece of fabric fastened in the middle of the back bow which you grab
on to while pulling the back bow into place. Got the picture? If not I can
