Actually, the book -- "Motoring, Getting the Maximum from Your New MINI" --
was published in March and is available for $29.95 from www.minimania.com or
Amazon.com. It covers the range from buying a MINI to spec racing, and every
activity in between, and discusses tuning, upgrading, and driving techniques at
all levels.
Was great meeting the Pittsburgh gang; I'm having a ball here. I walked the
course in Schenley Park yesterday and it is unbelievable. Just like Watkins
Glen (the original course), DelMonte Forest/Pebble Beach, and Golden Gate Park.
Stone walls built in 1893, curbs installed at the same time, high-crown park
roads, serpentine downhills, bridge abutments, lamp posts, on a 2.3 mile,
20-turn real road course. Should be more than exciting.
