Just to follow up on Gary's post a couple of days ago.

I tracked down a photo of another BN6 with BN4 seats. It's a UK car
registered PJB 828. It has a light colour interior with dark piping so
it's definitely a different car.

I wonder what number car it was. As Gary said it would be great to track
down a BN6 between numbers 500 and 850.

About a year ago there was a beautifully restored BN6 for sale on e bay.
It looked like it had been done by somebody who knew what they were
doing. Interestingly it had the pad armrest and the BN4 seats. It might
have been an error but on the other hand maybe he knew what he was
replicating what was there. Id like to find that car, it was Healey Blue
with disc wheels.

You certainly can't trust the brochures. It's almost certain the BN6
brochure is just a quick artist's modification of the BN4 brochure to
give it two seats. The 3000 brochure that shows an artists impression of
the car with yachts in the background is actually showing a 100-Six. It
has drum brakes and a ridge in the bonnet!!!!

Although having said that - SMO 746 a 3000 works rally car had a bonnet
ridge as did SJB 471. So that's another story!

You can see the other BN6 at
