Rich, you're correct, as usual.  That is until wheel wells turn a nice
rusty brown after a few winter's salted icy streets.  We don't salt
our
streets here.  The fast food shacks use most of the salt so there's
none left for road maintenance.

Um, why would anybody want the wheel wells black?
All the inner chassis areas including wheel wells are supposed to be
body
colour.
