Actually, it was my error. I have been on this list long enough to know that
they would be stripped. I was sending the jokes to another group and, since
this is Friday and they are real funny, thought that I would share with the
healey list and just included the list without thinking it through.

I have the same problem. However, in my case, I know it's caused by the
Symantec 2005 anti-virus/anti spam software that I run on this computer.
Since Symantec removes about 140 spam messages a day for me, I've adopted
the "small-price-to-pay" philosophy.
