Ned,
The insulating material is available from most of the usual suppliers. It is 
a modern day hardboard substitiute for what was originally asbestos 
insulating panels. These panels come today in a kit complete with the large 
flat washers, 10-32 screws, locks and nuts.
On the Hundred the screw heads are on the inside of the car with the nuts on 
the outside. Later production had nuts prewelded to the inside of the car 
with the screw heads on the outside,and the threads passing through into 
them.
They are not pop riveted.

Thanks Bob and Rich. These pictures are great.
Rich, in the picture of the wiring harness in the engine compartment I think
I see pieces if insulating material pop riveted to the fire wall. What kind
of insulation is that?
