Try this on your rocker cover:
1) get a new gasket and glue it to the valve cover with hardening Permatex
Type A. While the Permatex is soft, put the valve cover on a piece of wax
paper on a perfectly flat surface, such as a plate glass table top. Weight
the cover with old copies of the EU Constitution or War and Piece or a
brick, allow the Permatex to dry.
2) Install the valve cover on the car with Hylomar between the gasket and
the cylinder head.
This worked for me on an aluminum valve cover which didn't seal on one end.
