helping a guy in the club with a bj8(phase1) get his tach working. the tach
works fine in my car but will not work in his. the wiring was originally all
screwed up. someone had cut the wire that comes from the gas guage to the
back of tach and wired it directly to ignition, then ran a large white wire
from coil direct to the ground post on the tach. i have rewired the tach like
the wiring diagram, with the wire coming from ignition, thru the tach with a
loop, then on to the negative side of the coil, and and the wire from gas
guage to back of tach. still no movement of tach needle. any ideas of what i
am doing wrong? healeymanjim
