Probably 3.909, but the best way to check (assuming the gears are original) 
is to find the marks on the housing, ie: 41/10, 43/10 etc. The 3.54 would 
read 39/11.

As for it's being dead, what is the limit of deterioration beyond which a 
Healey can't be recovered?
