Sounds to me like someone sold you some new springs for a six-cyl /
BJ8 healey. Maybe some suppliers are selling front springs for a six
cyl for a 100, but they are different, the 6-cyl weighs a couple
hundred pounds more in the front!
Did you try AH Spares or possibly dealing with Norman Nock? I would
suggest they have the right springs. I'm pretty sure AH Spares has
the correct ones.
There are also a handful of shops around that will custom make springs for you.
If you are putting used ones in the car, just be prepared to swap a
few out until you get a pair that will match both sides in height.
