Greetings fellow listers.
The door strikers on my BJ8 do not have what appears to be a shim or other
between the door striker and the aluminum finisher. The part is identified as
PLATE, Packing, striker in the MOSS catalogue, page 126. Can anyone tell me
if this is an aluminum shim (or what other material) and does it go in between
the striker plate and the aluminum finisher or does it go behind in the fender
well? It appears it should go between the striker plate and the aluminum
finisher but mine never had them.
