No problem.
It is sometimes easier to get the head off after you use a stud box and
remove them all.

You can clearly see, with the manifolds removed, that the engine is tilted
to the right about 1.5" at the top. The left engine mount platform tilts in
and the other tilts out. This now explains why the left front wheel is
noticeably tilted in at the top. At this stage of the game I choose to
ignore it.  I'll think about getting the frame straightened if it turns out
I have to pull the engine.

 

When I loosened the head nuts, half of the studs unscrewed. Is that
something to worry about?
