I am planning to make a rack for my hardtop so I can simply put it on the
wall. I have been thinking about this all winter. The rack will have; front
down on a padded base cut to conform to the top's curve with a vertical bar
attaching to the wall (like an inverted "T"). (Front down to keep pressure
off the back window and frame). The base will include a "stand-off" to keep
the bottom front of the hardtop positioned out so the top actually sits
parallel against the wall (not with front lip tilting in). A simple strap
from the center bottom to the center top will secure it in place. It will be
simple to access and safe.
