Simon--

Somewhere in the 3000 production run (I believe it was when the first BJ7 was
released but am not sure) "Austin-Healey" morphed into "Austin Healey".

Though it may be an urban legend I have heard it was a supplier's mistake
that provided BMC with an economic advantage and a decision was ultimately made
to accept the incorrect badges.

No doubt someone will shed further light on this interesting footnote in
Healey history.

The "Austin-Healey" on the nose of my MkII BT7 is hyphenated as I believe
(devoutly hope) it should be????
I note one of the usual suspects selling a nice looking AH MkII badge
without the hyphen. Their ad is on the back of our local club magazine.
Weren't they all hyphenated in the front?
