I have been lurking for the last year as I tended to my son;s budding
racing career.

back to the toy box and get some cars back on the road. First off is the
"Ivory Red" my 65 BJ8.
She has been sitting for over a year and surprising enough fired right up
almost immediately. Here is the issue, and I can't remember (To late though I
should have left those darn chemicals alone in the 70's) what it is i need to
do with the carbs.
We are pumping fuel like crazy out of the carbs. Also the trans on this thing
is self changing, has anyone ever tried a thicker gearbox oil in the trans, or
maybe even a stop leak as a temporary fix. I hope to have the car painted this
summer or fall, and will tackle the issues when we pull the motor and trans
out for cleaning of the engine compartment
