Baulking Rings in MY BJ8

I've got the top off the gear box. All the gears look pristine. No chips or
rounded edges. The baulking rings look good to me but I don't know what a
worn one would look like. These have three tabs that look like houses with
the roof peak pointing aft. All the edges are sharp and the "peak" comes to
a sharp point. It is hard to tell what they are made of (bronze or SS)

 

Any comments would be appreciated.
