Has anyone installed any of these heavy duty fans on their 100? Is there a
special spacer you need to make it work? If so, where do I get it?

Alan--

I installed a DW fan on my car several years back. It did not need a spacer.
I removed it from my car last year when I noticed that the tips of the
blades had pulled forward into a dished configuration--with the fan on a flat
surface the hub stood about 1" off the surface.

I have since installed the Nock steel flex fan and think it is a great
improvement in traffic situations. It required a minimum of grinding in order
to
fit well over the WP hub.
