Didn't get a chance to talk to the owner about the little fan by the carbs,
interesting idea though, can only speculate that it is for cooling the carbs
after shut down, dor cool carbs and intake air during operation, or maybe
both.

  On the one shot you have of the engine bay for the 100/4, what is the
purpose of the little teeny fan... is it to keep the carbs cool?  Do you know
what kind of fan that is?  How is it activated?
