Frank -

Running your flywheel on the lathe won't do anything.  Bill Bolton's
flywheel has balanced cutouts on the flywheel.

Cost for the lightened flywheel from Bill Bolton is not much... probably the
same price as having your flywheel turned, balanced, drilled and pegged for
the BJ8 clutch.... which you will have to do anyway.

Everyone I know who has done it swears by it... it makes the motor alot more
responsive ... with a much quicker throttle response with little or no
penalty on torque.
