Ignition cable lengths can be found in the factory Parts List :
Coil to distributor- 9"
No. 1 plug - 10"
No. 2 plug- 9"
No. 3 plug- 5.5"
No. 4 plug- 9"
No. 5 plug- 11"
No. 6 plug- 15.5"
The above are for 29K/H101 engines on. Along with the above wires there is a
set of six ignition suppressors listed, that are not found in the wire set for
the earlier distributors. So if these suppressors are not being fitted, I
would think one would have to add the length of the suppressor (say, 1" or so)
to each of the lengths given above.
In addition, there are different lead lengths given for the earlier
distributors, a different set of "screened" leads for France, and yet another
different set of "suppressed" lead lengths given for Norway, Hong Kong,
Denmark, and Germany.
