SU Carburetor Part

I put rebuild kits into my HD8 carbs yesterday and found that one of the
outer throttle bushing retainer clips was missing. Does anyone know a source
for small SU parts? Moss says N/A.



The missing clip had let the Teflon bushing unwind from the shaft and caused
a huge air leak into the forward carb. This leak caused a bad "run on"
problem. Replacing the bushing stopped the "run on". Why do you think that
is?
