If you measure the rotations for a given distance then send the unit to
nisongers or moma they will calibrate the gage itself.  Call your favorite
rebuilder to get instructions.

An old friend called tonight asking if I could point him in the  right
direction to get a suitable speedo drive worked out for his BJ8 now  that he
has a Smitty's Toyota 5 speed fitted.

Can anybody  help?

Safety-Check speedometer shop is just south of BWI airport.  Bob  measured
how many turns the speedo cable made in a given distance  and built a
converter
box for my car that is mounted behind  the dashboard of my car.   It is dead

nuts accurate.  No  doubt competent speedo shops anywhere can do the same.
