Subject: Radiator attachment points BN1

I am installing a radiator in my "55 BN1. There are 4 captive nuts on the
radiator housing, two near the bottom and two about half way up. There are
also two straps that connect the housing to the inner fenders at the top. I
cannot figure out how or what the two captive nuts, that are half way up the
sides, are attached to. Are they for another application or just a coffee
table conversation piece?
Does the radiator housing catch the cross member of the chassis several
inches
up from the bottom?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
