Dan,

I don't know the thread size offhand (think it's 5/16" fine), but you 
can make a puller
easily enough.  Get some allthread in the correct thread size, a 
"coupler" (looks like
a long nut) and something to use as a bracket (I used a cut-up bracket 
off some bicycle
training wheels).  The bracket should have a hole in the center, through 
which you put
the allthread.  Secure the coupler to the end of the allthread (tack 
weld it, or use some
red threadlocker if you don't have access to a welder). 

Then, thread the coupler on the cover stud, place the bracket across the 
opening of the hub,
and use a flat washer and nut to tighten the allthread and extract the 
grease cup.  It's
worth the time to much such a tool--rather than yanking the cup out with 
pliers--since
you'll be taking the cup out periodically.
