Hi Steve,

I know that you are on the Healey list serve. I am on the summary version
and sometimes do not get it. I have tried to post to it, but have had
difficulties. So, if you wouldn't mind, could you post this for me? Thanks
in advance, Richard PS. The one you just showed was not an auction format so
it did not have the "Live Help" link.

I have recently come across listings on eBay motors for what appear to be
fraudulent auctions. They state that the bidders must first be authorized.
They also state not to use the "ask seller a question" but to,

"Please contact me directly at --email address-- if you want to be
preapproved to bid on ths item or for other questions.
!!! Do not use "Ask seller a question " as i am unable to respond to this
e-mail due some techical problems.Contact me at --email address--"

They usually have a price that is too good to be true and may use photos
from auctions that you might have seen on ebay before. On the auction
listing there is a little question mark in a cartoon caption balloon with
"Live Help" by it. If you click on that and sign in, you will get a real
person to whom can report the possible fraudulant auction. I have done this
twice with almost immediate results. Not a bad system.
