Thanks to all who offered to take measurements for me. However, Geoff  
Muttart, a lister within 100 miles of me, has informed me of a BT7  
undergoing surgery near his home that is at the rolling chassis  
stage. I'm going to be able to make all the observations and take all  
the measurements I need. Then I'll only have me to blame.
