[Healeys] Speed Bleeders and slave cylinder

I received my Speed Bleeders today and a seemingly obvious question hit me. 
Given the difficulty of bleeding the slave cylinder, and that there was a 
recent posting about an extra long bleed valve, has anybody used a Speed 
Bleeder on the slave, and if so, does it help, and which part number?
