it apart.

Can anyone help me with answers to a few questions, and ideally a
couple of pictures?

It appears the purpose of the U-shaped retaining bow that fits onto the
rear top bow is to cover and secure the lifting strip that's part of
the top itself. But I don't understand how the webbing is finished
under or around the top bow.

The Moss installation tape says the the retaining bow is screwed to the
rear frame bow, but they offer pop rivets for this attachment. The two
cars I've been able to look at both had rivets holding the U-shaped bow
in place.
Which is correct?

What is the function of the 2 small web retaining clips on the third
top bow?

I know there is a picture of the BJ8 top frame on page 175 of the
Anderson and Moment restoration guide, but in my book at least, the
detail is too light to see what's going on.

Many thanks for any advice.
