Dan,

The main door panels on your BJ7 are one of the few models that don't have 
stitching involved on the panel. Therefore it wouldn't be all that difficult 
to make up the main panels and cover them with a suitable vinyl. However, on 
your BJ7, the aluminum inner pocket panel is covered with a vinyl piece 
consisting of 4 pocketed horizontal rows of stitching with a slight amount 
of coach wadding applied between the stitching for slight loft. Many folks 
don't have the sewing machine or the know how to do that accurately.
Other models of the Healey both earlier and later have their own unique 
sewing requirements, each could be it's own chapter!
