I double checked my earlier measurement of 23.7mm / 0.933" with a vernier and
took a couple of original followers to work and got 0.93645" using a digital
micrometer, so I guess Peters and mine and the same, and not 1" , if thats
good enough confirmation. (feel free to pop round, I'm just in the uk!)
