Andy, I had the same question as I plan to drop my rear cross boxes in a year
or so.
Folks have said that the side exhaust system is very noisy - so I have
eliminated that option.
I plan to run 2 pipes back to the drivers side - will be noisier than the
stock system, but I can live with that I hope. Folks have said that it is
reasonable.
