Yes, for all 3000s there is a heat shield under the Left Hand floor
pan.  British Car Specialists and Bob Yule will sell them, usually as
part of a complete heat shield kit.  The are affixed to 5 T bolts (not
carriage bolts) which are spot welded to the floor pan.
