Hi all,

I have a Lucas Sports Coil which is marked "+" and "-" and I always have to
think carefully when I hook it up. I bought this back in the 70s and could
not swear that I bought the correct one, although after performing
faultlessly for 30+ years I have no issues with it..

Is there any way to distinguish a positive ground coil from a negative
ground coil? I should look to see if there are any part numbers stamped on
it anywhere.

I uunderstand that switching the two connections will still allow the motor
to run, but it is nice to get it right, n'est pas?

cheers,

Mirek
