I like the flexible tinted plastic idea. You can place them as needed. They
are small to stow.
We have been using tinted plastic sun visors with suction cups.
Reverse install procedure to uninstall. No damage to chrome and except for a
circle of saliva there is no sign anything was ever there.

I wonder if a piece of "static cling" film (Approx. 5" X 12") could be
temporarily stuck on the inside of the windscreen to block the sun. It could
easily be repositioned if necessary & removed for storage when not required.
One for the driver & one for the navigator.
