Just received new SU Burlen rebuild kits for my 100.
The kit has instructions with a new sheet which warns I must soak the
cork gaskets in oil for 24 hours before installation.
In my many years of doing this I've only ever soaked them for an hour
or so in oil. Seemed to work just fine like that.
Do I need to soak 24 hrs or is an hour or so decent enough?
