  This is a fairly straight forward DIY job.
Take out master and slave cilinder, dismantle, clean and inspect them.
If some crud is present in the bores you can polish this away using some 
metal polish or very careful use of some flower paper. Make sure you do 
not destroy the anodized surface layer as this may affect durability.
(Although I have honed aluminium master cylinders in the past without 
any ill effects, lasting for years).
Rebuild using new seals using brake lubricant or clean brake fluid and 
renew the hose.
If in doubt renew all parts, they are cheap items.
It is no use just to inspect and replace one part, as the other parts 
will be in a similar condition.
