Just happen to have a large pile of them handy. The 2.25 inch wide
shoes have an 11/16 long pin (total length of exposed pin and shoulder.
The 1.75 inch wide shoes (BN1) have a 1/2 inch long pin.

looks like it's 1/2". It seems it's 2-4mm too short.
