Gergo,

Exactly what nuts and bolts are you referring to?

On the 100's, all of the steel parts on the SU carburetors were a black
oxide finish.  I believe the same was true for the BN4's with the exception
of the nuts that held the carbs to the manifolds, which would have been zinc
plated.
