There was also a time when the car and trucks were shipped on carrier 
trailers that knowledgeable people watched to see which were the cars that 
had been loaded on the slanted backs of the carriers and not buy them. 
Those cars were tightened down across the rear axel with chains and binders 
and often had distorted rear axels.
