The deal is sometime the conversion to the electronic ignition works  
just fine and other times the tach reads wrong. You never know for  
sure what is going to happen. If the tach reads in error or is  
erratic the tach will need to me modified. From a positive pulse  
signal to a negative pulse signal.

The original tach used the coil feed wire to receive the pulse for  
the speed signal. The later you will have to supply a Green feed to  
the tach and then run a wire to the negative side of the coil for the  
tachs pulse signal.
