FWIW.....I bought a steel tank for my 100 in 2008 and have had no trouble with
it. It looks like the original,fit fine and the thread was correct and in the
right place. The only difference is inside the pipe where it meets the tank,
it isn't open all the way around and if you aren't careful you could get the
trunk wet,but I was told this before I bought it.
