I've had over a dozen Healeys starting with my first '60 3000 MK 1 in 1969,
they all had the asbestos heat shield. I've parted out  10 or 12 & don't
remember any not having them. My '63 & '67 do, have to look under my '53 BN1,
can't remember. cheers Geno
