My 9 and 11 year old kids tell me that CD's and DVD's are ancient and
obsolete technology as well and you best skip that step and go right to
digital MP3 or online storage otherwise you will be inquiring about the same
thing in a few years.

Is there a way of converting VCR tapes to CDs that won't brake the bank. We
can patch in a VCR to a TV monitor and copy a TV show. How would one
patch a VCR to a CD media for recording. Since my VCR is dieing and so is
the process, I would like to transfer my VCR tapes over to a long lasting
source before the tape deck totally dies.

Any web sights out there that you can suggest or what types of interfacing
widgets
are available now to combine these two media sources? Any Do's and Don't
may
be helpful too.

Thanks in advance,

Yes, I'm also Googleing as you read this.
