A fellow Healey owner had a BJ8 engine block stolen from his garage in
Chicago.
IL, this evening. The engine was a spare that was in the process of
a rebuild.
The block had only the crank and bearings installed. The engine
number plate had
been removed and not reattached thus the block will be
difficult to identify.
If anyone encounters a six cylcinder Healey block
being sold, please contact me.
