Its your car, Paint it any color you like IMHO. If the next owner hates,
they can repaint it :)
My youngest son wanted my car to be red over black. I painted it Blue over
white. He tells me he will repaint it after I died, if his brother
agrees......
 my tells him she will keep it as it is until she dies......
Some of the nicest Healeys I have ever seen where in non OEM colors
