Or you just learn to live with it. In my BN1 the gauge reads empty when =
completely full. When it reads full, I know that the tank is 3/4 full. =
And when it reads 1/4 full, I know that it=E2=80=99s about getting =
empty.=20

=20

It took me several attempts to really seal all around where the sender =
sits. So I did not want to open that up again.

The gauge in our BN2 would register 3/4 full when it was topped-up. We =
bent the float arm down a smidge, now it reads bang on. You could try =
bending yours up--so the float would be lower--but, of course, full =
reading might be off.

=20

When you top up, does the gauge register full even after you've burned a =
few gallons?

When the gas gauge on my 1960 BT7 reads 1/4, I'm out of gas. Can the =
sending=20
unit or the gauge be adjusted? Thanks.
