The springs were originally marked in this fashion as a way to quickly identify 
the spring. The BJ7 & BJ8 front springs had parallel red & white stripes, brush 
applied. 
No, the rods were made by a machine shop & no they won't make more!

Yes, I did & attached is a photo of one side. The other side is similar. Just 
to be clear, these are not necessary to properly align the front suspension, 
unless you consider the ability to "clock" the steering wheel spokes as part of 
the alignment. And no, I do not have a source for these.

Anyone ever seen any adjustable side tie rods for front suspensions, so you can 
do an actual alignment?  Anyone ever had any fabricated?
